We launched Pricefic to help small teams and freelancers take control of their finances without the overhead of traditional accounting software. We’ve been amazed at the response—especially from early adopters who helped shape the product into what it is today.

To ensure we can continue improving and supporting Pricefic sustainably, we’re introducing changes to our Free Plan starting May 1st 2025.

• Why we’re making the change

💡 Why We're Updating the Free Tier

As the platform has grown, so have the costs of maintaining it—document storage, support, and new features like collaboration, theming, and project management. We want to keep Pricefic lean, fast, and reliable for everyone, and that means introducing some fair usage boundaries.

We’ve designed these limits carefully to make sure they still support most solo users and small teams.

🚦 What’s Changing

Starting May 1st 2025, the Free Plan will include:

• Up to 10 documents (invoices, quotes, receipts, etc.)
• Up to 2 businesses
• Up to 5 customers
• Up to 2 projects

These limits apply only to newly created content. You’ll still be able to:

• View and download existing documents
• Archive old documents (archived docs don’t count!)
• Merge multiple businesses into one
• Upgrade anytime to expand limits

🛠 Strategies to Stay Within Limits

We know many of you are power users—and we’re not leaving you stranded. Here are some tools and tips to help you manage your usage:

Archive Unused Documents

Archived documents don’t count towards your total. If you’ve got old quotes or invoices you don’t need active, just hit Archive to slim things down.

Merge Multiple Businesses

If you’ve got multiple businesses under one umbrella, try our business merge tool. It helps consolidate everything into a single entity while keeping document history intact.

Cleanup Customers You No Longer Work With

Inactive or one-off customers? You can safely archive or remove them if they’re not linked to important documents.

Export Your Data

You can always download and backup your documents. We’re building toward more bulk export tools too—so you’re never locked in.

⏳ What About Existing Users?

We’re giving everyone who signed up before April 2nd 2025 a grace period until May 1st 2025.

During that time:

• You can keep using Pricefic exactly as you do now.
• You’ll get reminders and tips to help you transition.
• No documents will be deleted or hidden—ever.

We’ll be sending out emails and showing in-app messages to guide you through it.

We’ll be offering a simple, transparent upgrade path. Our new paid tiers are affordable and flexible—designed for freelancers, teams, and growing businesses.

As a thank-you for being early adopters, we’ll also be offering:

• Early-bird discounts
• Extended trials
• Referral rewards
